Pierre Debuisson
Maître Pierre DEBUISSON has been a criminal lawyer since 2013, having studied at one of France's leading business schools. He was voted “Toulousain of the Year” in 2024 and has distinguished himself in several high-profile national cases, including the Buitoni pizza scandal, the Lindsay case, the Estrabaud case, the Louvin case and the botulism outbreak caused by contaminated sardines in Bordeaux.
He is a regular guest in political circles: he has appeared in the National Assembly, the Élysée Palace and various ministries. He led a media campaign following the suicide of Lindsay, a teenager, which led to the launch of an inter-ministerial plan to combat bullying at school. This plan is now in place in all French schools.
He also initiated the first French class action, enabling families bereaved by the Buitoni pizza scandal to be recognised as victims and receive out-of-court compensation on favourable terms.
He provides legal representation to individuals, groups of victims, and companies in all areas of criminal law, business litigation, and procedural and media strategy.
He is currently fighting against cyberbullying and overexposure to screens, as well as the proliferation of endocrine disruptors, pesticides and water and air pollution.
Nadia MAAZ has been working as a lawyer at the DEBUISSON & Associés firm since 2021.
She primarily handles cases in the firm's Health Department, supporting clients in personal injury compensation proceedings. She has a Master's degree in Business Law from the University of Perpignan and handles all litigations relating to road accidents, workplace accidents, medical malpractice and hospital-acquired infections (nosocomial infections).
Notably, for two years, she played a key role in the day-to-day management of the Buitoni contaminated pizzas case.
Maître Clara GORMAND joined the firm in March 2022. After completing her studies in Criminal Law at the University of Toulouse and working within the French prison administration, she focuses on criminal and misdemeanour cases.
Deeply committed to defence, she pleads before all criminal courts in France—from magistrates’ courts to the Cour d’Assises—and regularly visits incarcerated clients to provide moral support and to prepare effective applications for release.
Passionate about criminal procedure, she reviews judicial investigation files to identify potential procedural flaws. She currently represents clients involved in cases of murder, armed robbery, and kidnapping.
Maître Andréa SUSPENE has worked alongside Maître Pierre DEBUISSON for many years. After completing advanced studies in business law at the Collège Supérieur de Droit and earning a DJCE diploma, she was admitted to the Master’s programme at HEC.
Maître SUSPENE handles cases involving corporate criminal law, the art market, and commercial litigation. She regularly intervenes in cases involving fraud and money laundering.
Experienced in debt recovery, seizure procedures, and contract law, she also manages commercial disputes between companies. Finally, she contributed to the negotiation of one of the largest settlements in France involving a multinational food corporation.
